See, love, breathe nature!

Nanoart, digital textile print, satin, gurama, size 1.20 x 0.83 m

2024

In the presented work called “See, love, breathe nature", the nano artist combined digital art with traditional decorative embroidery, gurama. The author has digitally processed colorful, wonderful nano images of about 30 different plants with the help of an electronic microscope. The nano- patterns were printed together on a 1.50m x 3m satin fabric. After that, a new nano textile composition was made by the gurama artist using the traditional national embroidery method. Inspired by nature, the installation combines digital and traditional art into one medium. Thus, the work is presented as a door to an extraordinary bio world that we cannot see with the ordinary eye.

Nanoart-is a form of digital art. The nano that surrounds us is a means of describing the beauty, colors and shapes of life that we have never seen. Nano images created with the help of an electron microscope are processed by a computer using special graphic editors.

Gurama-is a mosaic, inspired by nature, based on the colorful shapes that characterize the human spirit, as a type of embroidery, is a typical creative work that is welcomed all over the world.
